ULTRASOUND OF THE TESTICLES (SCROTUM) IN ARMENIA

Sonography of the testicles or scrotum

Organs being examined. Sonographic examination of the testicles includes the testicles, epididymis, veins and arteries supplying the testicles, adjacent soft tissues and the inguinal region. The examination helps diagnose pathological changes such as inflammation, tumors and other problems.

Duration. The examination takes approximately 15-30 minutes. Patients must register in advance so that they can receive the service without waiting.

Sonography report submission form. You can receive the results and images of the examination both in paper and electronic form in Armenian or Russian.

Indications for sonography

Indications for the study include, but are not limited to, the following:

Testicular pain and discomfort
Palpable lumps or hard areas
Problems with sperm quality
Problems found in previous tests
Changes in the size and shape of the testicles

Preparation for Ultrasound

It is recommended to avoid physical exertion for a planned examination, but there are no special preparation requirements. It is possible to appear in any condition. However, in case of acute pain in the testicles, it is necessary to urgently appear for sonography and the sonography will be performed without a queue, with as little waiting as possible.
