3D ultrasound examination is considered one of the most modern achievements in fetal research, which allows not only to see the face and different parts of the body of the unborn child in a close-to-real form, but also to evaluate various malformations.
This is an absolutely harmless and safe method, which uses the same expert-class ultrasound machine with a 3D sensor and special software that allows you to receive 3D and 4D images, including in the form of a snapshot.

3D ultrasound is performed from the first trimester during an ultrasound screening examination, but we get close to real images of the face in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters during an ultrasound screening examination.
There is no need to prepare in advance for the study.
