Ultrasound examination

Ultrasound is a modern, painless, harmless and high infinitivity medical examination method that allows you to quickly and accurately diagnose a fairly large group of diseases, namely diseases of the thyroid gland, mammary glands, testicles, joints, abdominal organs, blood vessels, in particular, called duplex or triplex examination. examines the organs of the fetus, starting from the early stages of pregnancy.

Ultrasonic devices

An ultrasonic device consists of several components, the first of which is an ultrasonic sensor that generates ultrasonic waves and receives them, and it is based on the physical data of the received waves that electrical waves of a certain power are obtained, computer processing of which allows you to obtain this information in the form of an image in the third component of the sonographic device-a monitor, and all this is the conversion of electric waves. The processing of images is carried out in the second component, the operating unit.

Ultrasound machines are classified according to their functional capabilities, which include the quality of visualization of tissues of various depths, the ability to assess blood flow in blood vessels, tissue elasticity, density, and the force of contraction of muscle tissue. Recently, contrast ultrasound (CEUS) has begun to find wide application in a number of countries around the world.All the functionality described above works using special programs and parts, and contrast ultrasound imaging is performed using a contrast agent containing tiny gas bubbles.

The 2nd classification refers to the possibility of moving ultrasound devices from one place to another, which can be stationary and portable. With the help of a portable device, patients with movement restrictions are examined at the bedside, for example, sonography at home, sonography in palliative medicine institutions, sonography in medical centers, as well as in operating rooms.
