ULTRASOUND OF THE LUNGS AND PLEURAL SINUSES

Sonography (ultrasound examination) of the lungs and pleural sinuses in Armenia

Organs examined: A sonographic examination of the lungs and pleural sinuses includes a detailed examination of the parietal surfaces of practically all lung segments, the parietal and visceral pleural leaflets in the same areas, the pericardium, and the pleural sinuses. The examination is performed by an experienced ultrasound specialist (radiologist) using modern and high-quality expert equipment.

Duration. The examination takes 15-20 minutes. Patients must register in advance to receive the service without waiting.

Sonography report submission form. You can receive the results and images of the examination both in paper and electronic form in Armenian or Russian.

Lung ultrasound costs 8,000-10,000 AMD. at VitaMed MC (Yerevan, Charentsavan, Stepanavan).

Indications for urinary tract and kidneys ultrasound

Indications for the study include, but are not limited to, the following:

Cough, fever, weakness
Contraindications for X-ray examination
Neonatal and pediatric age
Chest pain during breathing

Preparation for ultrasound

Present in any condition, will be carried out with as little waiting as possible.
