Electrocardiography is the recording of the electrical activity of the heart. It is a fairly quick, painless, and valuable test.

 

Indications:

• Chest pain

• Palpitations

• Shortness of breath, shortness of breath

• Feeling of slow, fast and/or irregular heartbeat

• Dizziness

• Fainting

• Weakness

• Blood pressure fluctuations

• Before surgery

 

Electrocardiography can assess

• Heart rate, rhythm

• Intracardiac conduction

• Signs of myocardial hypertrophy and dilation of the cavities

• Signs of electrolyte metabolism disorders

• It also helps diagnose myocardial infarction, arrhythmias

It allows you to detect arrhythmias (e.g. sinus tachycardia, bradycardia, atrial fibrillation (radiation), atrial and/or ventricular tachycardia, ventricular and/or supraventricular extrasystoles), signs of nutritional disorders, signs of hypertrophy, blockades (sinoatrial node blockade, AV blockade, complete/partial blockade of the right/left bundle branch(es).
