Fluorography or digital chest X-ray

Taking into account the statistics of data on the incidence of patients with lung cancer and pulmonary tuberculosis, it is sometimes necessary to conduct a mass or screening method of X-ray examination of the chest organs – fluorography.

Fluorography or a digital X-ray is a fast and reliable method of examining the chest organs, allowing for the early detection of diseases such as:

Different lung diseases (tuberculosis, sarcoidosis, pneumonia, pleurisy, cysts and other masses),

• Cardiovascular system diseases,
• Diseases of the mediastinum
• Diseases of the thoracic skeletal system

One of the main advantages of the modern device is that when receiving an image on the screen, the person being examined is exposed to 10 times less radiation than with film fluorography.

The powerful device has 256 shades of gray, thanks to which, with the help of computer filters, high image quality is ensured, which is immediately reflected on the screen, and with the help of a special computer program, you can enlarge the image or change its color to study the organ in more detail, thereby increasing the recognition of the disease.

Digital images can be stored on the storage medium indefinitely, which is important for monitoring disease progression or treatment effectiveness.

Thus, we can highlight the main advantages of digital fluorography:

• the person being examined receives a minimal dose of radiation,
• the answer to the study can be obtained immediately, moreover, the conclusion(images) can be provided to the patient on a disk,
• the research is not expensive or labor-intensive.
